UserWarning: Valid config keys have changed in V2: * 'orm_mode' has been renamed to 'from_attributes'
Cause
Pydantic 2 renamed the config key and only warns about the old one: orm_mode=True is not applied, so ORM objects then fail validation.
Fix
+from pydantic import ConfigDict- class Config:- orm_mode = True+ model_config = ConfigDict(from_attributes=True)-user = UserOut.from_orm(db_user)+user = UserOut.model_validate(db_user)Don’t try
treat it as a cosmetic warning and keep orm_mode — the key is ignored: from_orm() raises PydanticUserError (must set from_attributes=True) and model_validate(obj) fails with model_type.
