Error: Route "<route>" used params.<name>. params should be awaited before using its properties.
Cause
Next 15 made params a Promise; reading its properties synchronously only works through a temporary compat proxy that logs this in dev.
Fix
-export default function Page({ params }: { params: { slug: string } }) {- const { slug } = params;+export default async function Page({ params }: { params: Promise<{ slug: string }> }) {+ const { slug } = await params;// Client Component (cannot be async): const { slug } = React.use(params)Don’t try
make the 'use client' page async and await params there — React reports: <Page> is an async Client Component. Only Server Components can be async at the moment. Unwrap with React.use(params).
type params as any, or cast it, so TypeScript stops complaining — silences the compiler only; the read stays synchronous, so it warns on 15 and returns undefined on 16.
