Cause
the npm registry rotated its signing key (old key expired 2025-01-29); pnpm/yarn releases signed only with the new key fail verification in corepack 0.30 and older, whose key list predates it.
Fix
npm install -g corepack@latest # 0.31.0+ ships the new registry key# or move to Node 22.14+/20.19+ (bundles 0.31+); Node 25+ no longer bundles corepack at allDon’t try
clear the corepack cache or rerun corepack enable — the trusted keys ship inside the corepack release itself; neither step changes them.
COREPACK_INTEGRITY_KEYS=0 (or empty) — switches off signature verification for every package-manager download instead of updating the stale key list.
